When my friend, Michelle came by the other day to drop off
Big Boy after his sleepover, we began chatting.
Our conversation was fast and animated and quickly ran the course of
several topics... back to back. We probably
sounded like a couple of schoolgirls at recess.
We enjoy each other's company but get busy with our children's lives and
end up never getting together. So, when
we do, it is as if we each have the need to talk about everything that has been
going on since the last time we saw each other.
It just so happened that one of the things we were talking
about was the fact that we each need to
get organized. In her case, one of her
incomplete jobs is organizing her digital photographs. When she finally gets around to dumping her
pictures from her camera, then all end up in one large unorganized file. I told her that she needs to download more
often. And then it hit us... the problem was not that we needed to talk less but that we needed to download more often.
