The boys are back in town. They managed to get to Universal Studios Monday afternoon, all day Tuesday and Wednesday and then got on a plane at 7AM on Thursday. Big Boy was dropped off at school by 10:AM on Thursday making this a very quick trip.
It sounds like they had a lot of fun. They got tot he park early each day to try to bet the crowds and left by dinner time. Big Boy said that they rode almost everything they wanted to but missed out on a couple of ride due to time. He would like to go back again to hit those rides.
Universal was perfect for Big Boy since he is a huge fan of Harry Potter, the Simpsons, and thrill rides. I don't know if it would be as good a fit for Lil' Bit even if she is tall enough to ride stuff. She wouldn't really get all of the themes.
Someone asked me on facebook if this trip means that we are no longer a Disney family. I don't see trying out Universal as being disloyal to WDW but was concerned that Big Boy would turn on us. Well, have no fear. Both of my guys said that while they had a lot of fun ad Universal, they are still Disney fans deep to the core.
